Lead architecture, RTL design, implementation, and integration of digital blocks and subsystems for mixed-signal ASICs. Develop synthesizable SystemVerilog/Verilog RTL, reusable IP, and perform synthesis, STA, CDC/RDC, power estimation, DFT, and timing-driven implementation. Collaborate with analog, physical design, verification, firmware, and detector teams to support FPGA prototyping, lab evaluation, and ASIC integration for scientific instruments.

Lead the Operations Section responsible for safe, reliable operation, maintenance, commissioning, and upgrades of Brookhaven's accelerator complex. Set priorities, staffing, resource plans, and operational strategies; manage Main Control Room and Operations Support groups; coordinate maintenance, installations, and EIC integration; ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and reporting to DOE.

Lead the EIC Development Section providing scientific, technical, and administrative leadership for accelerator design, construction, commissioning, and operation. Oversee collider and injector group leaders, set priorities and staffing, coordinate performance integration across rings and injectors, support project delivery and technical reviews, foster collaborations, ensure safety and quality, and represent the Section in lab and external forums.

Support data center infrastructure and scientific computing systems: install and manage computer and storage hardware, assist with asset management and DCIM, participate in off-hours support, and help maintain operational readiness for large-scale HPC and data-processing environments.

Provide mechanical engineering support for design, analysis, construction, testing, and maintenance of NSLS-II accelerator mechanical and utility systems. Manage projects end-to-end, produce drawings/specs/calculations, oversee fabrication/installation/testing, support operations and safety, coordinate technical staff and contractors, and present results to stakeholders.

Develop, commission, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize a 4-Kelvin liquid-helium cryogenic plant and related subsystems for superconducting RF cavities. Perform thermal and structural analysis using multiphysics tools, design and procure cryogenic components, produce technical documentation and maintenance plans, mentor junior staff, and provide limited off-hours support for operations.

Lead electrical design and support for facilities modernization projects: develop layouts, calculations, specifications, and construction documents; review shop drawings; perform site visits; mentor junior engineers; assist project managers with scope, budget, and schedule tracking; ensure code compliance and contractor adherence.

Design and document complex mechanical components and systems for an accelerator using 3D CAD; produce fabrication drawings to ANSI Y14.5; support fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning; lead/coordinate project design efforts and mentor drafting staff; participate in design and safety reviews and collaborate with scientists, engineers, and technical staff.

Provide engineering support for beam position monitors and accelerator diagnostics, maintain and repair hardware, develop firmware and software support, collaborate with technicians and scientists, plan maintenance/shutdown activities, and support 24/7 operations readiness.

Develop and deploy ML and HPC workflows, algorithms, and software for DOE scientific applications. Collaborate with domain scientists, scale ML on heterogeneous architectures, ensure correctness and reproducibility, profile and optimize performance, apply software-engineering best practices, and publish and present research. Two-year postdoctoral appointment with possible extension.
