Provides senior technical leadership for municipal engineering, including development review, subdivision and infrastructure plan evaluation, regulatory compliance, capital improvement planning, and project delivery from design through construction. Supervises engineering personnel, directs consultants, reviews technical deliverables, manages stakeholders, supports budgets and capital forecasting, and represents the City in technical and regulatory matters. Acts for the City Engineer when absent and makes routine technical and project decisions.

Lead and manage the Development Services Department, overseeing planning, zoning, permitting, inspections, code enforcement, budgets, staff supervision, interdepartmental coordination, and long-range planning to promote compliant, strategic community development.
