Support ESA at ESTEC on satellite telecommunication system analysis and simulations: prepare tenders, manage industrial R&D, perform hands-on technical analyses, develop SATCOM technology roadmaps, and support ESA-wide telecom projects. Requires SATCOM systems knowledge, 3GPP 5G expertise, simulation experience, programming skills, security clearance eligibility, and relocation to the Netherlands.

Serve as Configuration Management Engineer for ESA ESTEC site: maintain baselines and master document lists, support CCB/ECB activities, manage change requests/waivers, prepare and run configuration meetings, review industry data packs, support audits and technical reviews, and introduce tools/process improvements to streamline configuration and documentation management.

Operate Kubernetes clusters, integrate C++/Java/Python simulation components, implement logging/KPI pipelines, support multi-node simulation demos, interface with SDR/RF and hardware-in-the-loop setups, debug distributed simulation issues, and document procedures and baselines.

Support ESA at ESTEC on satellite telecommunication system analysis, RF equipment operation, test integration, calibration, documentation, inventory management, SATCOM R&D and protocol/architecture roadmaps. Perform RF measurements, simulations and prepare test reports and demos.

Provide expert technical support for platform and payload data handling systems across project phases: feasibility, design, simulation, testing, procurement and R&D. Lead resolution of critical development problems, define technology requirements and work plans, manage R&D activities, perform laboratory and hardware verification tasks, monitor technological trends, and contribute to knowledge dissemination and proposal evaluations for ESA projects.

Provide engineering support for digital equipment in RF payloads across ESA projects: design, simulation, modelling, testing, tool development, reviews, and coordination with labs, industry and academia. Maintain state-of-the-art expertise, define technical requirements, and validate hardware/software for payload signal processing, data compression/encryption, and device specification.

Design, develop, verify and validate real-time embedded flight software for ESA spacecraft. Provide technical support, monitor industrial activities, participate in reviews, define/implement R&D and standardisation activities, and contribute to verification/validation, test campaigns and technology dissemination across projects from definition to launch.
