Provides cloud information systems security engineering for a government customer, including security architecture recommendations, cloud security requirements, network design reviews, security testing, RMF compliance, system security documentation, and coordination with development teams. The role requires expertise in cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, operating systems, migration security, and government information assurance processes, along with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph.

Lead complex IT network transition programs across government organizations. Develop schedules, roadmaps, dependencies, milestones, and governance mechanisms; coordinate engineers, vendors, integrators, and senior stakeholders; manage risks, changes, readiness reviews, procurement transitions, and operational handoffs. Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, security, contractual, and service acceptance requirements while delivering executive briefings and maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Maintain the security posture of government sponsor compute and cloud environments. Manage security accreditation lifecycles and workflows under ICD-503 Rev. 4, create and maintain system security plans and related documentation, apply sponsor security policies and risk management frameworks, collaborate with Information System Security Managers, and support IC reciprocity for accreditation projects.

Serves as the Cybersecurity and Computer and Network Defense Subject Matter Expert, overseeing the technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities in coordination with government customer representatives and sponsor staff. Requires 11 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree, and an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

Supports government customers through cybersecurity authorization and RMF activities, including ATO risk reviews, POA&M tracking, security control assignments, asset screening, system reviews, and continuous monitoring. Ensures compliance with ICD-503, customer directives, and NIST 800-53 controls while coordinating with ISSO, ISSE, ISSM, and SCA stakeholders. Requires a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, favorable CI polygraph, IA certification, and RMF implementation experience.

Ensures systems and products meet government cybersecurity and information assurance standards through verification, validation, testing, threat analysis, and design reviews. Develops cyber threat profiles, evaluates security performance, maintains analytical procedures, prepares technical recommendations for government intelligence and operations officials, and supports the security posture of networks and systems.

Manage business processes and systems integration for a government Network project. Responsibilities include supporting strategic direction, coordinating multiple projects, documenting service delivery transitions, developing budget requests, monitoring execution, prioritizing initiatives, and producing clear written deliverables. The role requires independent problem-solving, policy implementation support, strong project management skills, government experience, and excellent communication.
