Support legislative monitoring and research by tracking federal legislation, summarizing congressional hearings, drafting briefing documents, and conducting research. Interns will learn the legislative process, interact with clients and congressional staff, and handle variable daily tasks depending on the congressional calendar.

Interns perform media and social media analysis, research journalists and stakeholders, build media lists, create social content, and identify speaking and awards opportunities to help clients build their brands. Daily tasks vary and include substantive, mentored assignments focused on strategic communications and public affairs.

Lead integrated teams to design and execute executive engagement and public affairs strategies—salons, roundtables, conference activations, and stakeholder convenings. Build and leverage cross-sector networks, mentor junior staff, manage complex logistics and client deliverables, and collaborate on strategic recommendations, pitch materials, and thought leadership to grow the practice and achieve measurable outcomes.

Support strategic communications and public affairs work, including media and social media analysis, researching journalists and stakeholders, building media lists, creating social content, and identifying speaking and awards opportunities. Interns will handle varied daily tasks, collaborate with teams, and receive mentorship while developing writing and PR skills.

Lead research, analytics, and narrative intelligence efforts to surface risks and opportunities for clients. Conduct social listening, stakeholder mapping, reputational and competitive intelligence using platforms like Blackbird.AI and Brandwatch. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into client-ready reports, recommendations, visualizations, and rapid-response analysis to inform communications, public affairs, crisis, and business strategy.

Support the Data & Analytics team by developing search queries, gathering and organizing social/digital data, detecting trends in large datasets, and turning findings into client-ready insights and deliverables. Learn analytical tools and assist internal AI projects.

Support the Art Director on client work: produce social graphics, presentation decks, digital and print assets; edit Figma and Adobe files; build PowerPoint templates; track workload; perform light research and collaborate with the digital team.

Support client communications and public affairs by researching media, drafting press materials and social content, managing media lists and content calendars, preparing client deliverables (talking points, fact sheets, PowerPoint), supporting account teams, and assisting with new business efforts.

Support government relations work by researching and drafting policy updates, issue papers, and client materials; monitor federal legislation and regulations; cover hearings and events; spot and disseminate issues to clients; coordinate meetings with policymakers and stakeholders; and assist with networking, business development, and events.

Support the operations team by executing and providing on-site event support, assisting with scheduling and invoice tracking, and performing administrative and select operations projects. Work flexible hours and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
