Serve as the enterprise data intake and investigative analyst: use Python and SQL to explore data, surface anomalies and quality issues, translate stakeholder requests, map data flows across systems (CRM/Salesforce), document processes, build lightweight automation, and inform data governance and remediation. The Director, Planned Giving leads the USO’s planned giving program, developing fundraising strategies and managing approximately 50 donor prospects. Responsibilities include cultivating and soliciting major and planned gifts, overseeing the 1941 Legacy Society, advising fundraisers, managing vendors and budgets, coordinating marketing communications, administering gift documentation, analyzing tax and legal developments, and supervising development support staff.

Supports enterprise strategic planning, execution tracking, and decision support. Responsibilities include researching and synthesizing information, preparing executive and board materials, analyzing strategic priorities, tracking workstreams, identifying risks, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining execution cadences, and supporting high-priority initiatives. The role partners across functions, facilitates alignment, develops recommendations and business cases, and produces concise, decision-oriented materials for senior leadership. This is an in-person position in Arlington, Virginia.

Manage gifts administration and development operations, ensuring accurate gift recording, PCI-compliant donation handling, and monthly reconciliations. Serve as gifts processing SME, collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams, oversee vendor relationships, lead and mentor staff, and maintain data quality and reporting.

Develop and execute a major gifts strategy across a multi-state territory, manage a 75-donor portfolio, identify and cultivate high-capacity prospects using wealth analytics, solicit five- to seven-figure gifts, collaborate with prospect development and regional staff, prepare proposals and reports, support planned giving and select grant applications, and steward donors through in-person and virtual engagement.

Manage and maintain job descriptions and market pricing; perform compensation surveys and data-driven pay recommendations; ensure wage/salary compliance; maintain HRIS data integrity and compensation tools; administer special pays; support HR initiatives and partner with HR, Payroll, HRIS, and Finance.
