Lead AI system safety assurance for humanoid robots: perform STPA/FMEA hazard analyses, assess model-update risks, define AI safety requirements (inputs, confidence, OOD), develop V&V test cases, deploy validation cells, maintain traceability, and produce evidence packages for certification.

Design and deliver mechanical actuator components (motors, gear trains, housings) from concept through production. Create high-fidelity CAD and engineering drawings with GD&T, perform tolerance stack-ups, collaborate with modeling and test teams to define test plans, coordinate suppliers and RFQs, support characterization and iterative design, and ensure manufacturability, cost, and reliability for high-cycle electromechanical systems.

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, manage build artifact storage, operate cloud and GPU clusters, enhance MLOps training/deployment and observability, and harden security and multi-tenancy for robot infrastructure.

Lead system-level electrical design for industrial robotics: own schematics and PCB work in Altium, integrate sensors, motor drives, high-speed SerDes cameras, networking (EtherCAT/Ethernet/Wi‑Fi/5G), audio and display HMIs, cable harnesses, and industrial-grade designs. Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, supply chain, and manufacturing; run design reviews, validation, NPI support, and mentor engineers.

Lead end-to-end program execution for software and controls across autonomy, perception, embedded firmware, and real-time control systems. Manage sprint planning, dependencies, risk, milestones, architecture reviews, and cross-functional coordination to deliver field-ready robotics software from prototype through production. Establish scalable program practices and ensure technical readiness against hardware and certification constraints.

Lead collision-avoidance safety for humanoid robots: hazard analysis (STPA, FMEA, FTA), define safety distances and SOTIF processes, derive functional and technical safety requirements, design V&V (HIL/SIL), implement monitoring and incident closure, and collaborate across perception, planning, and actuation teams to validate safe human-robot interactions.

Lead end-to-end mechanical design of a humanoid robot upper arm, including shoulder and elbow structures, interfaces to torso and lower arm, actuator integration, electrical packaging, harness routing, and thermal design. Drive FMEAs, validation and durability testing, CAD models, drawings, BOMs, prototype builds, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating cross-functionally to close interfaces and iterate from test results.

Lead design and integration of the robot mobile base: drivetrain, actuators, brakes, battery interface, suspension, structural cast base, thermal and ingress protection. Manage vendors, prototype builds, testing, BOMs/CAD, and mentor junior engineers to drive designs from concept through validation.

Work on the mono leg of a humanoid robot: design actuator packaging and cast structural parts, implement thermal paths, run basic structural and thermal tests, build prototypes, maintain CAD models/drawings/BOMs, and collaborate across actuation, electrical, base, and torso teams under senior engineer supervision.

Develop and maintain onboard control software for humanoid robots, including control loops, state estimation, actuator interfaces, and motion planning. Integrate learned policies with hardware, improve system reliability and fault recovery, debug sim-to-real discrepancies, and support hardware bring-up and field testing.
