Provide leadership and management for the Opportunity Under Law impact litigation team: supervise and mentor attorneys, fellows, and interns; oversee docket, case staffing, and development of novel legal theories; serve as counsel on select matters; manage program administration including budgeting, grant compliance, and pro bono engagement; and build external relationships and communications to advance strategic impact litigation.

Provide direct legal services and foreclosure defense for low-income homeowners, conduct community outreach and presentations, staff homeowner clinics, handle individual cases and support class actions, supervise law clerks and volunteers, assist with research, writing, grant reporting, and represent CREJ at external meetings and media as needed.

Lead and execute an organization-wide communications strategy to elevate Public Counsels profile, manage media and crisis communications, oversee digital strategy, brand stewardship, and content production, and align communications with fundraising and program goals. Supervise and develop a small Communications team, establish standards and metrics, and coordinate internal and external messaging to amplify client and community voices and support advocacy and litigation efforts.

Supervise delivery of bankruptcy and consumer debt services, manage grants and reporting, recruit and train pro bono volunteers, mentor staff, liaise with courts, engage in policy advocacy, assist with administration and strategy, and represent Public Counsel externally.
