Designs, builds, operates, and continuously improves Howden’s Azure cloud platform. The role develops reusable platform components, self-service capabilities, landing zones, governance guardrails, security patterns, CI/CD templates, and observability practices. It translates workload demands into platform enhancements, supports live cloud environments, creates reference architectures and ADRs, and communicates technical decisions to engineering, security, delivery, and non-technical stakeholders.

Processes and validates first notices of loss, maintains accurate claim records, supports claim and account inquiries, monitors milestones, prepares reports, performs reconciliations, and coordinates with adjusters, carriers, brokers, clients, and internal teams. Own the operating model, transformation agenda, operational governance, resilience, productivity, customer outcomes, and cost performance. Drive acquisition integration, technology and automation adoption, and scalable growth while building a high-performing leadership team. Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive stakeholders to deliver strategic, commercial, regulatory, and operational objectives across a large, geographically dispersed organization.

Supports underwriters with administrative and data-processing tasks, including file clearance, risk prequalification, correspondence, policy issuance, task approvals, inspections, subjectivity follow-up, notices, endorsements, and cancellations or reinstatements. Serves as a client contact throughout the account lifecycle, responds to inquiries, maintains accurate records, and ensures underwriting workflows comply with established guidelines and deadlines.

Designs and governs global insurance brokerage processes, including process maps, SOPs, RACI models, controls, and governance frameworks. Partners with technology, risk, compliance, audit, finance, and regional operations teams to standardize workflows, identify automation opportunities, manage process changes, and support audits. Monitors performance metrics, drives continuous improvement, oversees remediation, and supports new product and M&A process integration across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
