Leads all accounting operations for a growing PE-backed EdTech company, including close, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, audits, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and internal controls. Manages a three-person team, implements a new ERP/accounting platform, modernizes expense and credit-card processes, and drives automation. Partners with executives and the Board on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, business metrics, and strategic decisions while building scalable finance infrastructure.
