Owns U.S. sourcing and supplier strategies for assigned CapEx and OpEx categories. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, analyzing market and supplier data, mitigating category risks, partnering with Legal and Tax, tracking procurement KPIs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The role collaborates with Asahi’s global category teams and supports cost, quality, and value optimization.

The Assistant Controller supports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close; prepares financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports; maintains internal controls and accounting procedures; oversees general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reviews; leads and develops accounting staff; improves accounting processes and systems; and partners on transformation initiatives.
