Provides legal support for civil legal aid cases across housing, immigration, public benefits, employment, and family law. Conducts client intakes, interviews, fact investigations, evidence gathering, document preparation, translations, referrals, and legal education. Maintains case files, tracks deadlines, coordinates meetings, supports attorneys with case strategy and hearings, and communicates with clients, witnesses, and community partners. The role is in person and includes some travel.

Provide clerical and administrative support to attorneys and casehandlers: maintain client files, create new case files, prepare standard pleadings, schedule hearings/depositions, notarize documents, manage trust accounts, handle mail/phone, maintain office supplies and equipment, coordinate calendars, assist clients and attorneys, and perform other secretarial duties as assigned.

Provides bilingual English-Spanish paralegal support for migrant and seasonal workers’ legal cases. Conducts client intakes, interviews, investigations, legal research, document preparation, evidence organization, translation, interpretation, referrals, and case deadline tracking. Assists attorneys with litigation, hearings, case strategy, and client communications. Conducts community outreach, legal education, and Know Your Rights presentations. Requires extensive travel, including overnight trips, and in-person work in Nashville.
