Own full-cycle payroll processing in Paycom and administer employee benefits and leave programs. Ensure compliance with wage laws and collective bargaining agreements, reconcile payroll with finance, manage enrollments and vendor invoices, support onboarding/offboarding and recruitment, maintain employee records, generate HR reports, and lead transition from external contractors to an internal payroll/benefits function.

Lead a 4-person HR team to manage HR operations, employee relations, union contract negotiations, performance management, payroll/benefits, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and DEIA initiatives. Serve as trusted advisor to leadership and Board, oversee HR policies and investigations, manage HR budget and vendors, and support the museum's Health and Safety Plan.

Create and publish social and email marketing content that tells the museum's stories, grows online communities, produces short-form video and podcast episodes, tracks and analyzes engagement metrics, and collaborates with colleagues to support exhibitions, programs, fundraising, and institutional goals.
