Design, develop, and deploy real-time computer vision and video-processing algorithms for embedded, resource-constrained platforms. Optimize AI/ML models for high-frame-rate systems with GPU/FPGA and multi-core processing, integrate sensors and cameras, participate in full SDLC, evaluate and optimize performance, debug pipelines, document work, and mentor junior engineers.

Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux software including device drivers and kernel modules. Build video processing, encoding, and streaming applications, implement APIs/protocols, manage CI/CD and containerization, debug and optimize system performance, and collaborate across teams.

Design and lead high-reliability electronics for space and aerospace imaging systems, including PCB/PCBA design, high-speed signal and low-voltage power work, reliability analyses (thermal derating, MTBF, radiation tolerance), compliance to MIL-STD standards, CMOS sensor integration, and FPGA/HDL contribution.

Lead design and development of camera, video-edge compute, and storage electronics. Create block diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts; integrate high-speed interfaces; debug and test imaging systems; collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers; mentor junior engineers; ensure compliance with aerospace/military standards and deliver products to market.

Lead the design, simulation, testing, and integration of lens, sensor, and imaging/laser systems. Perform optical modeling, develop test plans and alignment procedures, support manufacturing and troubleshooting, define acceptance criteria, and research emerging optical materials and technologies. Contribute to structural, thermal, mechanical, or systems engineering as needed.
