Perform complex analytical and mathematical analyses to solve problems and support decision-making. May lead or supervise small teams of operations analysts, brief government/client personnel, and conduct advanced data analytics for defense-related projects.

Lead systems engineering for DoD programs: assess system issues, design/upgrade and maintain systems, collaborate with clients/vendors/IT, implement quality controls, and perform cost-benefit analyses to develop efficient, compliant systems.

Configure, install, monitor, and maintain network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). Provide management analysis and project oversight for the Army NetMod program: gather and analyze operational data, identify improvements, produce monthly financial and government reports, develop procedures and training, coordinate resources and staffing, and present findings to stakeholders.

Support network integration, testing, and troubleshooting for MQ-25/UCA communications including satellite and line-of-sight links. Write test plans/procedures/reports, configure labs, analyze traffic (Wireshark), apply DISA STIGs, generate RMF artifacts, and operate/configure routers, switches, firewalls, INEs and Linux networking.

Provide engineering support for complex electronic warfare (EW) systems: troubleshoot, repair, evaluate, and develop system designs and architectures; support field testing and training; perform spectrum management; analyze Electronic Attack (EA) and Sensing (ES) techniques; assist test, evaluation, certification, installation, calibration, and maintenance; review change proposals and produce technical documentation.

Develop, test, and maintain desktop and web applications, backend services, and hardware-integrated systems using C++, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript. Implement networking (TCP/IP, UDP, WebSockets, gRPC), REST APIs, databases, and Protocol Buffers. Support system integration, field testing, customer demos, documentation, and troubleshooting within a small engineering team.

Provide Tier 2 IT support including VMware administration, network device management, rack-and-stack, user account administration, troubleshooting, patching, security tasks, monitoring, documentation, and collaboration on IT projects while mentoring junior staff.

Develop and deploy Java applications and microservices on RHEL/Linux, support containerized hosting and VMware hypervisors, create scripts and deployment automation, follow Agile processes, harden systems to DISA STIG/RMF guidance, and produce test plans and engineering documentation for PEO C4I baselines.
