Winter accounting interns review financial data, assist with audits and substantive testing, analyze confidential reports, prepare tax returns, support tax planning, research tax and GAAP guidance, and contribute to bookkeeping, assurance, consulting, and other client projects. Interns receive mentorship, training, and hands-on public accounting experience while working full time from an office location.

Support tax compliance and planning by preparing and reviewing returns, conducting tax research, identifying tax issues and planning opportunities, documenting positions, supervising and mentoring junior staff, and using tax software and databases to deliver timely, high-quality client service.

Lead a team delivering government financial reporting and consulting services, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, quality control, client communication, process improvement, technical research, and business development to drive engagement profitability and practice growth.

Lead financial analysis and valuation engagements using advanced techniques (DCF, public comps, capitalization of earnings). Produce valuation reports, advise clients on transaction, ESOP, and estate valuations, mentor junior staff, perform client interviews and site visits, and support Quality of Earnings work to ensure engagement quality and client satisfaction.

Lead and execute business valuation and transaction advisory engagements from proposal through delivery. Perform financial statement analysis, build financial models and cash flow forecasts, conduct industry/economic research and benchmarking, prepare narrative reports and exhibits, supervise and mentor associates, participate in client meetings, and ensure quality control. Travel to client sites as needed (10–15%).

Advise clients on tax implications and planning, manage tax engagements and teams, perform tax research and compliance, communicate with tax authorities, provide technical tax advice, and support business development and mentoring of staff.

Lead and execute complex business valuations and financial models (cap earnings, public company comps, DCF). Produce valuation reports, advise clients, supervise and mentor junior staff, perform Quality of Earnings and transaction advisory work, conduct management interviews and site visits, and help acquire and close engagements.

Manage monthly multi-state sales and use tax compliance: collect, review, format, and upload data into tax engines; prepare and file returns and payments; monitor state portals and notices; reconcile sales tax payable accounts; prepare client deliverables; support data wrangling and client communications.

Lead and supervise audit engagements from planning through wrap-up, ensure application of GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB standards, assess internal controls, draft complex financial statements, coach staff, manage budgets, billing and collections, and support business development within the Dublin, OH area.

Perform audit assurance tasks including preparing financial statements and disclosures, applying GAAP/GAAS, documenting workpapers, researching accounting issues, validating internal controls, and supporting engagement teams while supervising junior staff as needed.
