Design and iterate mechanical subsystems and prototypes for next-generation metrology systems. Own concept-to-manufacturing designs, create specs, drawings and BOMs, perform risk/FEA analysis, manage suppliers, and validate designs through testing in cross-disciplinary teams.

Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for STM32/ARM-based metrology hardware. Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers on board bring-up, device drivers, and hardware-software integration. Optimize performance and memory, perform HIL/unit testing and debugging with scopes, logic analyzers and emulators, follow CI/CD and version control, and produce technical documentation.

Lead theoretical and experimental development of metrology systems and algorithms, perform lab and clean-room testing, provide diagnostics and production transfer, collaborate with HW/SW teams, and translate customer requirements into technical specifications.

Lead system architecture and end-to-end development of high-performance metrology products for semiconductor manufacturing. Provide on-site application support for SIMS and XPS metrology to semiconductor customers, run pre-sale demonstrations, develop applications with R&D teams, maintain customer relationships, and support sales and marketing with technical insights.

Develop and optimize optical metrology applications for semiconductor manufacturing, engage with customers for product evaluation and new product introduction, apply statistical techniques for HVM optimization, provide regional support, present technical analyses, and maintain customer confidentiality. Travel domestically up to 25%.

Provide metrology solutions using Nova's in-line XPS and XRF systems in semiconductor fabs: customer demos, application development, training, support, installation, troubleshooting, and collaboration on technical reports and product features.

Provide on-site application and metrology support for semiconductor processes (CMP, CVD, lithography, etch). Deliver OCD solutions, perform pre-sales demos, customer training, and collaborate with sales, HQ, and FSE teams to grow business in China.

Partner with cross-functional teams to build and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and reporting for a semiconductor equipment business. Own P&L, cash flow, budgeting, cost and margin analysis, and provide strategic insights for product introductions, CAPEX, and operational performance. Drive process improvement, ERP/planning system optimization, and present findings to senior leadership and investors.

The Strategic Regional Marketing Director will lead marketing activities for Nova, focusing on Go-To-Market strategies and enhancing customer engagement in the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities include market analysis, creating marketing materials, and fostering internal and external collaborations for improved portfolio positioning.
