The Outside Sales Rep is responsible for developing client relationships, generating leads, promoting trench shoring equipment rentals, and meeting sales quotas in the construction industry.

Develop and execute solution-based sales strategies for engineered systems, manage key accounts, provide technical product training and demonstrations, collaborate with engineering, negotiate contracts, oversee installations and technical support, analyze market trends, and mentor outside sales teams to close complex, long-lead opportunities.

Provide CAD drafting and drawing management support: create engineering and sales drawings from sketches or instructions using AutoCAD/Revit, translate plans into company formats, develop new drawing methods/processes, and collaborate with engineers and sales while adhering to OSHA trench and excavation requirements.

Drive new business and maintain client relationships in the construction/excavation market by promoting trench shoring equipment rentals. Prospect leads, meet sales targets, provide tailored solutions, track performance in Salesforce, collaborate with branch and support teams, and monitor market/competitor activity.

Handle inbound customer inquiries, orders, and complaints; generate sales/documents (invoices, contracts, pick/packing lists, returns); coordinate between customers, branches, and field reps; follow up on unresolved issues; escalate complaints; may take after-hours calls and open/close facilities; adhere to safety and drug/alcohol policies.
