Manage a large inventory of complex California workers' compensation claims: investigate liability and coverage, analyze and negotiate settlements/reserves, authorize payments, maintain detailed claim files, represent the company at mediations/arbitrations, and coach or mentor staff as needed.

Lead and grow the Data Engineering team to design, build, and optimize enterprise data pipelines, ODS and warehousing (Snowflake/IDMC). Drive data governance, data cataloging, quality frameworks, ETL/ELT architecture, cross‑functional stakeholder alignment, and mentor staff while translating business strategy into data roadmaps for P&C insurance domains.

Lead enterprise data architecture and governance, design data integration and warehouse solutions, establish standards for modeling/metadata/security, evaluate emerging technologies, collaborate with stakeholders, mentor staff, and ensure scalable, high-performance analytical environments.

Prepare and review GAAP financial statements, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, perform month‑end/year‑end close and journal entries, support audits, produce financial analysis and ad‑hoc reports, assist budgeting/forecasting, and help improve internal controls and policies.

Collects, validates, and analyzes large datasets from multiple sources to produce reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Ensures data integrity, identifies trends, collaborates with stakeholders to deliver insights, documents processes, and implements reporting improvements. Supports licensing tracking, adjuster renewals, and internal claim audits as needed.
