Summer 2027 actuarial internship supporting pricing and reserving analyses for a commercial transportation insurer. The Workers Comp Senior Claims Representative manages claims, evaluates compensability, conducts investigations, negotiates settlements, and maintains detailed claim files. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills along with experience in property and casualty claims handling.

Supports insurance underwriting by assisting with pricing model updates, captive program renewals, and submission data entry. Supports business development through Salesforce data entry, new and renewal submission intake, prospecting, marketing analytics projects, and identifying new producers. The internship includes exposure to multiple departments, professional development, job shadowing, networking, and social activities. The role is based in the Richfield, Ohio office during Summer 2027.

Assists with financial statement preparation, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end and year-end close activities. Supports audits, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal control improvements, and coordination with internal departments and external customers. The role is part of a graduate development program beginning in June 2027 and is primarily on-site in Richfield, Ohio.

Assists with planning, executing, monitoring, and documenting IT projects. Supports scope, budget, schedule, risk, issue, and quality management while coordinating team members and stakeholders. Tracks project performance, manages changes, prepares status reports, and contributes to mitigation and contingency planning. May serve as a Scrum Master by facilitating and coaching agile teams.
