Lead and scale a global Applications Engineering organization in Korea; own customer relationships, drive technical engagements and NPI, align with Sales and Design Engineering, and improve probe design win rates, FA cycle time, and customer satisfaction while developing leadership and operational excellence.

Lead R&D and implementation of advanced electroplating and metallurgical processes for MEMS probe fabrication. Lead development and implementation of advanced MEMS photolithography processes, drive innovation and IP, perform DOE and statistical process characterization, lead failure analysis using SEM/FIB, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor engineering teams to enable next-generation probe card technologies and manufacturing-ready solutions.

Define, own, and improve fab metrology, inspection, and yield-monitoring capabilities. Lead AOI tool bring-up, production microscopy, flying probe testing, profilometry, and probe-tip processes. Analyze inspection and SPC data to identify yield limiters, lead root-cause investigations, maintain equipment qualification and documentation, and ensure EHS/cleanroom compliance to drive yield improvement and production stability.

Provide customer-facing application support for cryogenic wafer probing systems: install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize measurement setups. Perform RF, microwave, DC, low-current, and low-noise electrical characterization; integrate VNAs, SMUs, signal generators, lock-ins, and cryogenic instrumentation. Develop measurement plans, analyze results, create application notes and training, collaborate with product teams, run demos, and travel (~25%) for installations and customer support.

Lead a global engineering organization responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle from R&D and NPI through volume ramp and sustained production. Set engineering strategy, drive high-volume manufacturing readiness, KPI tracking (yield, reliability, cycle time, cost), solve complex production issues, engage with strategic customers, and develop senior engineering talent and culture.

Manage PO and sales activities including pricing, quotations, forecasting, and Salesforce updates. Provide technical leadership to develop customer solutions, grow business in existing accounts, align cross-functional teams, and enforce sales processes, controls, and escalation. Communicate customer issues to HQ and drive sales strategy and programs to maximize volume.
