Lead mechanical engineering role owning product/subsystem design through mass production for defense UAVs. Responsibilities include conceptual design, CAD and FEA analysis, prototyping, design reviews, drawing creation, failure root cause, manufacturability, validation testing, and mentoring or managing junior engineers while collaborating with manufacturing, supply chain, and flight test teams.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks for embedded drone and ground control software. Integrate tests into CI/CD, ensure build stability, perform HIL testing, and document test plans/results to maintain software quality.

Manage creation, review, and lifecycle of electronic components in Altium libraries and the ERP system. Evaluate new part requests for technical, sourcing, and regulatory compliance (NDAA, RoHS, REACH), coordinate with manufacturers, define alternates, and support procurement and operations to ensure supply continuity and obsolescence mitigation.

Lead and grow the flight software engineering team responsible for flight controls, avionics, payload integration, datalink, and onboard health. Own architecture, delivery, release cadence, and engineering quality across vehicle platforms. Set code review, testing, and CI/CD practices; define test strategy and partner on SITL/HITL and flight tests. Maintain software interfaces consumed by autonomy and ground systems and act as the technical interface to senior leadership.

Lead execution of New Product Introduction programs, maintain master schedules, coordinate cross-functional readiness (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain), run NPI reviews, manage ECOs and firmware releases, support daily build execution, coordinate tooling and procurement, and track production ramp readiness and risk mitigation to move products from prototypes to reliable production.

Design and implement board-level manufacturing test hardware and fixtures, define ICT/functional/test/programming/calibration strategies, deploy and sustain test solutions with contract manufacturers, analyze yield and failure trends, and drive DFT and continuous improvements across prototype to high-volume production.

Own development and maintenance of manufacturing test stations for autonomous systems. Perform board-level hardware debugging, develop and extend test automation (Python), integrate HW/SW, analyze production test data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage, reliability, and production scalability.

Run and enforce the Marketing org's project management systems, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage timelines for campaigns and launches, surface and resolve risks, present status updates to leadership, and conduct post-mortems to improve execution and velocity.

Lead architecture and development of manufacturing systems and integrations (MES, ERP, QMS, WMS). Build production factory software, define APIs/data models, establish engineering standards, ensure auditability/observability, and partner with cross-functional operations teams. Mentor engineers and operate hands-on as the first senior technical leader in a fast, regulated manufacturing environment.

Manage media relations across national, business, tech, defense trade, and creator outlets. Pitch and field press inquiries, run embargoed rollouts and exclusives, draft press releases and media materials, maintain editorial/announcement calendar, analyze coverage and share-of-voice, and partner with content production on integrated campaigns.
