Supports appellate and federal litigation concerning immigrants’ rights, including BIA and circuit court appeals, habeas petitions, FOIA litigation, class actions, amicus briefs, legal research, client interviews, drafting, and practice advisories. The internship requires at least 15 hours weekly for 14 weeks and may be conducted remotely.

Provides temporary People Operations support for open enrollment and employee leave administration. Configures and tests benefit systems, tracks elections, supports employees, validates enrollment data, maintains records, develops leave processes, manages confidential documentation, and supports FMLA and applicable state or local leave administration.

Manages the Children’s Program by providing immigration legal representation to unaccompanied children, supervising and training attorneys and paralegals, mentoring pro bono counsel, overseeing case placement and databases, ensuring grant and contractual compliance, supporting detention-center operations, and contributing to organizational strategy and stakeholder engagement.

Provides direct legal representation to unaccompanied immigrant children in removal and related immigration proceedings. Handles asylum, withholding of removal, Convention Against Torture, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, U-Visas, and T-Visas. Manages caseloads, client follow-up, case databases, timekeeping, grant compliance, and supervision of junior staff and paralegals. Requires collaboration across the Children's Program, trauma-informed services, Spanish fluency, and work-related travel.
