Lead national TBO operational implementation and readiness by translating TBO concepts into operational requirements, procedures, and training. Assess impacts, risks, and gaps; drive standardization and change management; coordinate across operations, technology, safety, and training stakeholders; monitor progress, benefits realization, and represent operational interests with regulators and partners.

Manage the safe, efficient flow of air traffic in the Edmonton Flight Information Region as an Area (IFR) or Tower (VFR) controller. Complete paid classroom, simulator, and on-the-job training, coordinate clearances and communications, and ensure aircraft separation. Lead and support quality assurance for ATS Learning by designing tools and training, participating in training reviews and validations, analyzing safety and audit findings, preparing corrective action plans, facilitating safety and risk management, and supporting curriculum design and implementation across theory, simulation, systems, and qualification programs.

Develops, maintains, and delivers simulation-based training and courseware for air traffic operations. Supports simulator databases, troubleshooting, stakeholder training, and national projects to ensure standardized, effective simulation delivery.

This role involves training to become an Air Traffic Controller, managing airspace using communication and decision-making skills. Qualifications include a high school diploma and Canadian residency.
