This role involves providing engineering expertise, technical assistance, and guidance to agencies and public. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering designs, conducting inspections, and recommending solutions.

Perform financial, operational, and federal compliance audits of county governments and political entities. Travel to audit sites (overnight stays possible), apply accounting and auditing standards, prepare audit documentation, and communicate findings. Must not audit the county of residence.

Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve taxpayer service. Analyze data, design and implement process changes, develop training and documentation, create dashboards and project plans, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, support change management, and present results to leadership while ensuring compliance and confidentiality of Federal Tax Information.
