Lead and own end-to-end bid and new business function for NatCen: manage and improve bid processes, lead high-value proposals, produce bid playbook and templates, embed automation/AI where useful, align senior stakeholders, and drive stronger messaging to win public-sector research contracts.

Conduct in-home research interviews using a tablet or laptop, recruiting participants by knocking doors, recording responses, and following project protocols. Manage travel between assignments, complete admin tasks, and represent NatCen professionally while contributing data that informs government and charitable research.

Maintain and improve finance systems, own the purchase order system and workflows, design SQL stored procedures and automation for financial processes, support reporting, reconciliations and stakeholders, and drive process improvement and system upgrades.
