Hands-on process engineer responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows in boat production. Lead continuous improvement and capital projects, document SOPs, analyze production data, mentor teams, run Kaizen events, support quality audits and design-for-manufacturability to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost.

Create and manage production and prototype wiring harness CAD drawings and documentation, support prototype and manufacturing processes, lead continuous improvement and NPI efforts, resolve quality issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

Lead plant-level quality activities to reduce scrap, rework, COPQ and warranty issues. Maintain control plans, audits, and quality metrics; lead root-cause investigations (8D/A3/5 Whys), implement CAPA, support suppliers and NPI, drive Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve product quality and process stability.

Provide in-person and remote end-user, application, server, and network support across office and manufacturing environments. Troubleshoot PCs, servers, phones, networking, VoIP, and applications; manage user provisioning, hardware installation, asset inventory, monitoring, and ticketing. Participate in on-call and local on-site rotations, travel to remote sites rarely, and maintain documentation and processes.

Manage supplier quality to ensure incoming materials meet Malibu Boats standards. Lead supplier selection, APQP/PPAP, incoming inspection, containment, corrective actions (8D/DMAIC/A3), supplier audits and development, NPI readiness, data analysis, and continuous improvement to reduce PPM, COPQ, and warranty issues.

Lead design and development of next-generation boats from concept through production, build and develop a high-performing engineering team, drive execution against milestones, improve manufacturability and handoffs to production, partner with operations, quality, supply chain and customer service, and implement structured product development processes to raise product quality and on-time delivery.

Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT to gather and prioritize requirements, translate them into user stories and functional specs, support solution design and implementation, manage testing and QA, document systems, train users, and drive continuous improvement with data-informed analysis and automation opportunities.

Independently manage marine components projects from concept through production: schedule and supplier management, CAD design, GD&T, prototyping, BOMs, process engineering (DFMA, tooling), CNC programming and trials, and customer-facing technical support to drive product and manufacturing solutions.
