Manages comprehensive human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, HRIS administration, payroll coordination, policy development, compliance, personnel records, training, and organizational culture initiatives. Advises employees and leaders across WELS entities on employment practices, benefits, risk management, and policy interpretation. Coordinates board and committee nominee vetting, volunteer background checks, safety compliance, and HR reporting while ensuring practices align with WELS theology and applicable laws.

Provide executive financial leadership for WELS, overseeing financial planning, accounting and reporting, treasury and investments, budgeting, audits, risk management, compliance, internal controls, and strategic decision support. Serve as Treasurer, advise executive and governing bodies, manage external professional relationships, lead cross-functional initiatives, and oversee assigned support functions including HR and Facilities.
