The Quality Engineer - Metallurgy oversees metallurgical practices, testing, and compliance with aerospace standards by reviewing documentation, analyzing data, and driving improvement initiatives.

Ensure metallurgical integrity and compliance for aerospace metallic materials and special processes. Review certifications and process records, oversee metallurgical testing, support failure investigations, qualify heat treatment and forging processes per NADCAP/AS9100, drive continuous improvement, support audits, and communicate technical findings with customers and suppliers.

Support metallurgical testing, quality systems, and process-improvement initiatives. Assist with material allocation, order review, audits, beta anneal trials, QMS documentation, and quality reporting. Collect and analyze metrics and prepare charts and reports for the metallurgical and quality teams.
