Develops and improves manufacturing processes, troubleshoots product and production issues, designs tooling, analyzes costs and production data, and applies lean manufacturing and statistical methods. Maintains technical documentation, validates process capability, supports material review decisions, communicates with customers, and leads cross-functional engineering projects. The role requires hands-on expertise in machining, assembly, inspection, GD&T, CAD tooling design, and manufacturing process development.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for assessing NCMRs, approving rework instructions, resolving quality issues, and performing root cause analysis. They create technical documents, coordinate improvements, and train Associate Quality Engineers within a cross-functional team.
