Design and validate electromagnetic compatibility for spacecraft avionics and electro-mechanical systems. The FPGA Lead Engineer will develop and test avionics FPGA RTL designs for planetary rovers, lead architecture and verification processes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust system interfacing and performance.

Drive supplier performance and readiness by assessing processes, leading on-site development, resolving production and quality issues, supporting NPI and ramp activities, and partnering cross-functionally to mitigate supplier risks and improve manufacturing capability.

Lead development and execution of lunar mission operations: define ConOps, operational strategies, procedures, timelines, simulations, training, anomaly response, and real-time surface mission control to ensure safe, efficient rover missions.

Lead design, analysis, implementation, tuning, verification, and validation of robotic control systems for extra‑terrestrial rovers. Develop simulations, prototype controllers, testbeds, and supporting documentation. Integrate controllers with flight software and collaborate with avionics, integration, and test teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Design, implement, and harden enterprise and mission network infrastructure to NIST 800-171/53 standards; manage on-prem and Azure networking (Hub & Spoke, ExpressRoute, VPN), firewalls, wireless, automation (Ansible/Chef/Puppet), ensure low-latency telemetry/video for missions, troubleshoot and optimize performance, mentor junior engineers, participate in on-call rotations, and maintain architecture documentation and runbooks.
