The Chief Engineer is responsible for safe cargo operations and maintenance of the vessel, requiring strong leadership, communication skills, and relevant experience.

Responsible for overall engine room operations and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries, and electrical systems. Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs, monitor fuel and lube oil usage, lead and train engine crew, ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, and support dry docking and repair activities. Requires valid certifications and proven maritime experience.

Provide excellent customer service, promote and sell products, maintain attractive merchandising and displays, process payments, manage inventory and stock (cycle counts, SKU checks, replenishment), handle guest queries and complaints, ensure store cleanliness and FIFO for perishables, assist with deliveries and vessel safety duties as needed.

Lead the vessel's engineering department to ensure safe, efficient operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery, environmental compliance, fuel/bunkering management, PMS oversight, crew training, and timely corrective/preventive actions while reporting to the Master and Technical Manager.

Maintain and service electrical and electronic systems aboard a VLCC oil tanker. Ensure STCW and rank-specific certificates are valid. Require experience with high-voltage installations, minimum 4 months in rank on similar tankers. Must have strong English communication, safety mindset, and ability to find solutions. Trading area includes USA and Australia. Contract is ~4 months with competitive benefits and onboard internet.

Lead the engine room team to ensure safe, efficient operation and maintenance of main engines and machinery. Oversee repairs, dry-docking work, and adherence to safety and STCW requirements. Communicate effectively with multicultural crew and demonstrate leadership while supporting vessel operations in specified trading areas.

The 2nd Officer is responsible for voyage planning, bridge watchkeeping, chart corrections, and participation in cargo operations, ensuring safety and effective navigation.

Lead the deck ratings team and supervise deck maintenance, ensuring safety procedures during cargo operations and mooring/unmooring activities.
