Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight, challenge, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and performance reporting. Lead financial input for procurement and tender processes, support restricted income reporting and audit readiness, analyze risks and opportunities, and improve financial systems, controls, processes, and reporting. The role also contributes to organizational planning, investment decisions, and sustainable resource allocation while building strong relationships across the charity.

Develops and delivers researcher engagement and stewardship programs for funded researchers and Fellows. Responsibilities include coordinating visits, webinars, conferences, and events; building research community insights; representing the charity at research events; supporting research impact measurement, funding rounds, partnerships, and internal resource development. The role requires strong relationship-building, communication, data interpretation, organization, project management, and collaboration across research, engagement, and fundraising teams.

Manage regional fundraising relationships with supporters, volunteers, corporate partners, and stakeholders. Lead regional relationship strategy, drive income growth, oversee budgets, develop supporter journeys, analyze performance data, and ensure compliant fundraising activity. The role involves cross-team collaboration, senior external representation, supporter stewardship, and regular regional and national travel.

Serve on the Board to provide strategic direction, uphold charity governance, monitor executive performance, identify and manage risk, act as an ambassador, use networks to support fundraising and impact, and constructively challenge and collaborate with trustees and staff.
