Manages Governors Island Arts’ seasonal Organizations in Residence program, including open calls, outreach, selection, onboarding, calendars, partner coordination, marketing assets, permits, contracts, and public programs. Serves as liaison to resident organizations, artists, and internal teams while supporting exhibitions, events, onsite logistics, and audience development. Requires arts administration and program management experience, strong organization and communication skills, familiarity with New York’s arts community, weekend availability, and a driver’s license.

Serves as the Trust’s lead attorney and strategic legal advisor, overseeing contracts, real estate transactions, public-private partnerships, procurement, compliance, governance, litigation, risk management, insurance, employment matters, and outside counsel. Acts as Board Secretary, manages legal staff and legal budgets, advises senior leadership, and coordinates with government agencies and law firms. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the Trust’s capital, operational, maritime, cultural, and programmatic activities.
