Own the workflow engine powering customer runs, including scheduling, queues, retries, batching, idempotency, provider integrations, observability, and cost controls. Scale Postgres and Redis while improving reliability across high-volume data workflows. Work autonomously, use coding agents extensively, and make technical decisions for an early-stage platform.

Own and ship customer-facing features across Freckle’s web app, CLI, API, and agent integrations. The Founding Engineer will work directly with customers, turn manual GTM workflows into products, answer tickets, fix issues, and use coding agents while exercising strong technical judgment. The role requires full-stack engineering, product sense, autonomy, and a pragmatic approach to building Freckle’s product direction.
