Responsibilities include evaluating GD&T, tooling and checking fixture designs; managing quality-related parts, die modifications, customer communications, internal coordination, process changes, product introductions, project finances, and assigned manpower. The role requires assembly tooling, hemming and stamping knowledge, engineering drawing interpretation, and domestic and international travel.

Manages automotive Body-in-White design projects from proposal through completion, including timelines, budgets, work plans, customer design reviews, technical problem resolution, tooling changes, documentation, and component buy-offs. Serves as the primary customer contact while coordinating project personnel and maintaining project records.

Supports account executives with customer relationships, project specifications, proposals, timelines, estimating coordination, opportunity development, presentations, customer feedback, and marketing activities. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, design, project management, accounting, R&D, and training teams. Requires an engineering or business degree, strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, work weekends, and participate in customer entertainment.

Oversee automotive engineering projects from proposal through completion, including planning schedules, budgets, staffing, tooling processes, design approvals, build integration, customer communication, reporting, and issue resolution. Coordinate project personnel, provide technical guidance, adjust plans as needed, and improve quality, delivery, cost, and safety. Travel nationally and internationally for service and installation.
