Design and validate field-ready autonomous robotic system architectures by translating customer requirements into simulation-validated concepts. Lead multidisciplinary mechanical, electrical, controls, and software design, perform prototyping and risk analysis, produce Solution Development Packages, and collaborate with execution teams to ensure manufacturability, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Translate customer requirements into simulation-validated, field-ready robotic system architectures. Perform modeling, prototyping, and multi-disciplinary design (mechanical, electrical, controls, software). Define system requirements, interfaces, BOMs, and acceptance criteria. Lead design reviews, mitigate technical risks, and produce Solution Development Packages to enable smooth handoffs to execution while incorporating field feedback for continuous improvement.

Lead end-to-end mechanical design for industrial robots: concept, CAD, prototyping, production, and DFM/DFT. Establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, perform structural calculations/GD&T, manage BOMs and contract manufacturers, run projects, and collaborate with electronics, software, and AI teams to validate field-ready hardware.

Lead RobCo's quality and reliability strategy for autonomous industrial robots: define QA frameworks and gate criteria, bridge R&D and production, build and mentor a test engineering team, advance HIL/SIL test infrastructure, track quality metrics (e.g., MTBF, yield), and execute hands-on validation during launches.

Lead electrical design for autonomous robots from prototype to production. Own schematics, PCB layout, power and harness design; ensure EMC, thermal, safety compliance; collaborate with firmware/software, manage DFM/DFT and suppliers, and build QA and engineering processes to support scalable manufacturing.

Develop, test, and maintain software integrations for industrial peripherals (cameras, controllers, ERP, measurement/testing systems) in robot cells. Standardize integration approaches, run projects from proof-of-concept to customer deployment, support field teams remotely or on-site, document solutions, and introduce new technologies to streamline industrial automation deployments.

Build RobCo's partner marketing function end-to-end: define strategy per partner tier, create co-marketing assets and guidelines (German & English), implement tracking and reporting tied to pipeline, manage partner relationships, represent RobCo at events, and collaborate cross-functionally to feed partner insights into marketing and product.

Develop and optimize backend application logic, automation nodes, and orchestration workflows in Python. Collaborate with international teams, provide Level 3 technical support, and troubleshoot deployments on robotic hardware. Bridge software and hardware, prototype/test sensor integrations and robot arm workflows, and maintain code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

The Head of People & Culture will develop and execute RobCo's people strategy, scale hiring, and enhance performance systems while partnering with the C-suite on organizational development.
