Provides secure application and IT support for NATO systems, including security architecture, threat modeling, risk mitigation, application deployment, cloud configuration, identity integration, AI solution support, incident resolution, monitoring, compliance, accreditation, and technical documentation. Supports Windows and Linux environments, Azure and AWS cloud services, databases, web applications, end-user devices, vendors, and NATO stakeholders. Requires extensive software engineering and cybersecurity expertise, customer service skills, NATO Secret clearance, NATO nationality, and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Coordinates technical projects across teams and stakeholders by tracking milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and deadlines. Maintains project plans, schedules, action trackers, registers, reports, dashboards, meeting records, and governance documentation. Supports project meetings, workshops, management reporting, communication, and continuous improvement of project coordination processes. The role is fully on-site in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium, may require work outside normal hours and travel to NATO sites.

Provides lifecycle engineering support for NATO deployable communications and information systems, including infrastructure design, testing, deployment, virtualization, storage, identity management, web hosting, cyber hygiene, remote desktop solutions, and monitoring. Participates in DevOps automation and change management, leads technical support during projects and exercises, resolves complex incidents, documents solutions, trains junior staff, and deputizes for senior personnel. The role is full-time and on-site in Mons, Belgium, with occasional travel to NATO sites.

Develops strategic communications and stakeholder engagement for NATO’s Cyber and Digital Transformation Division. Responsibilities include creating speeches, presentations, briefings, web and social content, engagement plans, strategic narratives, stakeholder roadmaps, and event materials. The consultant advises senior leaders, manages relationships across industry, academia, Allied stakeholders, and the public, assesses reputational risks, and supports conferences and outreach activities. The role requires deep knowledge of NATO structures, cyber and digital transformation topics, senior communications experience, on-site work in Brussels, and an existing NATO Secret clearance.

Manages IT service transition planning, assurance, and continuous improvement across NATO-related programs and projects. Responsibilities include developing transition strategies and policies, guiding project teams, coordinating assurance and quality reviews, tracking project activities, assessing risks, creating corrective plans, and reporting to senior stakeholders. The role also supports capability maturity assessments, project governance, and may deputize for senior management. Some travel to NATO sites is required.

Design, maintain, and govern the agencys enterprise security architecture. Define security requirements, standards, controls and roadmaps. Integrate and evaluate security technologies, ensure regulatory compliance, research new security solutions, and support Security Officers and IT teams in protecting agency information systems.
