Partner with Engineering, Hardware, and Software leaders as a hands-on HRBP to strengthen manager capability, drive org design and workforce planning, coach on performance and career frameworks, manage employee relations, support technical hiring, and deliver scalable people practices for a fast-moving deep‑tech robotics organization.

Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for humanoid robots. Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules; implement real-time software and communication protocols; perform hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting; collaborate across mechanical and electrical teams; document designs, code, and test results.

Develop and deploy robot manipulation capabilities by training and fine-tuning policies (behavior cloning and RL), curating and preprocessing datasets, iterating simulation/digital twin training, expanding observation/action spaces, partnering with teleoperation, controls and hardware teams to ensure smooth transfer and improve real-world performance.

Develop and train language-vision conditioned manipulation policies with reinforcement learning in simulation and real robots. Build diverse simulated task suites, collect teleoperation trajectories for behavior cloning, establish real-world RL training pipelines, and research sim-to-real transfer methods.

Join the Platform Infrastructure team to build and maintain cloud control plane and on-robot software that provisions devices, distributes OTA updates, publishes telemetry, and ensures fleet state convergence. You'll write production-quality backend and on-device code, work with AWS infrastructure (Terraform, ECS, Postgres, S3), pair with senior engineers, use AI-assisted development tools, and collaborate across firmware, cloud, and operations teams. Role requires on-site work in San Diego and focuses on device identity, security, and scalable provisioning.

Serve as functional and solution design authority for ERP finance and procurement. Lead end-to-end design, configuration, data and controls, testing strategy, and vendor oversight. Partner with programme, IT, and business owners to ensure scalable, auditable ERP solutions and build an ERP functional team over time.

Develop and iterate on pre-training and fine-tuning pipelines for VLA policies, own data-to-deployment loops, partner on data collection, scale distributed training, curate datasets and synthetic data, and optimize models for real-time edge inference.

Develop and own core embedded OS, networking, and software subsystems for humanoid robots. Integrate sensors and computing platforms, write high-integrity Linux-based code, lead cross-functional projects, validate systems for safety and reliability, and build infrastructure for rapid R&D iteration.

Provide L1/L2 IT support for office and lab users, manage endpoint setup and JumpCloud MDM rollout, handle hardware procurement and Jira Assets inventory, maintain AV/meeting rooms and basic networking, document runbooks, and coordinate with global IT and Cyber teams to build scalable IT infrastructure.

Build backend and on-robot services to author, deploy, and manage fleet workflows. Implement workflow state management, event logging, APIs, data infrastructure, cloud deployment, observability, testing, and simulation-based validation. Collaborate with robotics, AI, and product teams to create operator-facing tooling and reliable production systems.
