Own the multi-year strategy for Felix’s reusable lending platform, including sponsor-bank integrations, loan management, underwriting, servicing, and money movement. Make build-versus-buy and reusable-versus-custom decisions, establish platform processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, risk, compliance, finance, and external partners. The role requires deep understanding of financial system integrations, regulated environments, architectural trade-offs, and 0-to-1 product development, with responsibility to build a team as the platform scales.

Design and own Felix’s Internal Developer Platform, including scalable Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer portals, observability, security, cost optimization, and infrastructure-as-code standards. Build MLOps and LLM deployment infrastructure, establish platform strategy, mentor engineers, advocate best practices, manage technical roadmaps, and align platform capabilities with product and engineering objectives.

Build and operate reliable infrastructure on GCP and GKE, automate provisioning with Terraform and Helm, and develop DevSecOps capabilities. Manage observability, monitoring, SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, incident response, and on-call operations. Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to improve reliability, security, deployment velocity, and cloud cost efficiency.

Build and operate reliable, secure infrastructure on GCP and GKE. Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Helm, Go, Python, and Bash; improve observability, monitoring, and alerting; define SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets; participate in incident response and on-call rotations; implement cloud security practices; collaborate across teams on DevSecOps; and optimize Kubernetes resources and cloud costs.
