The FADEC Engineer will design and implement the digital engine control system, focusing on sensing, control logic, embedded software, and system integration. Responsibilities include signal processing, control algorithms, actuation safety, and testing support.

The role involves aerodynamic design and analysis of turbine components, CFD simulations, and blade shape optimization, focusing on turbine performance.

Create and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies, apply DFM principles, manage complex assemblies and BOMs, ensure compliance with standards/GD&T, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, manage CAD data in PDM, and support design reviews.

Lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of gas turbine-based propulsion systems. Develop procedures, design mounts and hardware, build test stands, implement instrumentation, integrate sensors and data acquisition, support startups, troubleshooting, teardowns, failure analysis, and generate build and test documentation.

Design and own end-to-end RF systems for radar/defence: architecture, waveform and receive-chain design, RF front-ends, antennas and arrays, calibration, lab/field validation, and production hardening. Use EM and circuit simulation tools, RF lab instruments, and scripting to iterate designs and run target-tracking field tests.

Design and implement end-to-end radar signal processing: dechirp/Range-Doppler, detection (CFAR), beamforming, angle estimation, target classification and multi-target tracking. Prototype on SDRs, move algorithms to real-time FPGA/SoC/DSP/GPU targets, plan and execute field data collection, and iterate against real-world clutter and ground truth.
