Paid 10-week summer internship supporting appraisal-related work within Western Alliance Bank’s commercial banking organization. Leads incentive compensation and enterprise workforce planning FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, FTE tracking, financial modeling, data validation, governance, and management reporting. Manages complex commercial loan portfolios by analyzing, structuring, underwriting, and coordinating loan closings. Partners with commercial bankers and clients to assess credit needs, prepare financing requests, monitor credit risk, ensure regulatory and lending-policy compliance, and resolve loan processing or servicing issues. Supports portfolio growth, customer service, and banking goals through effective underwriting and portfolio management.

Develop and deliver secure, AI-enabled, cloud-native full-stack solutions for lending platforms. Build APIs, integrations, reporting capabilities, and applications using Azure, .NET, Python, React, SQL, and ETL technologies. Apply Prompt Engineering, MCP, and RAG patterns; implement CI/CD pipelines; support observability, governance, security, and compliance. Collaborate with architects, business partners, QA, and engineers, participate in reviews, guide junior developers, and maintain technical documentation.
