Provides high-level administrative and organizational support to the refinery manager and leadership team. Responsibilities include calendar and meeting management, travel coordination, executive communications, confidential information handling, report preparation, action-item tracking, SAP-based administrative support, event coordination, and office/site administration.

Leads the refinery’s Electrical, Instrumentation, and Analyzer Engineering function. Manages and develops engineering staff, oversees contractors, and provides senior technical leadership for electrical distribution, instrumentation, control, analyzer, and related systems. Drives safety, regulatory compliance, reliability, troubleshooting, incident investigations, asset strategies, capital projects, turnarounds, budgeting, and operational improvement initiatives.

Leads the refinery’s Reliability Engineering function, managing fixed equipment, rotating equipment, materials, and site reliability teams. Oversees mechanical integrity, asset strategies, reliability improvement, incident investigations, capital projects, turnarounds, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. Provides hands-on technical leadership while partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Projects, Turnaround, and Process Safety teams to improve safety, equipment availability, lifecycle performance, and refinery business results.

Leads sourcing, contracting, supplier performance management, procurement strategy, and contractor compliance for refinery operations. Negotiates commercial terms, manages contracts and purchase orders in SAP and Ariba, evaluates suppliers, monitors performance, supports cost savings, and partners with legal, business units, and procurement teams. The role also maintains supplier data, provides procurement training, prepares reports, and drives process improvements.

Schedules inbound feedstocks and outbound renewable diesel shipments by water, rail, and truck. Coordinates with refinery and trading teams on inventory, forecasts, purchases, and sales obligations. Reviews contracts, secondary costs, invoices, payment terms, compliance documentation, and cash forecasting inputs. Enters accurate data into RightAngle and supports accounting adjustments. This is an onsite role five days per week.

Manages PBF Energy’s transfer-pricing processes between Commercial and Refining, ensuring consistent methodology application, controls, reporting accuracy, and performance measurement. Evaluates and implements material-change transfer-pricing and P&L adjustments, partners with cross-functional teams, and drives process improvements, automation, and analytics initiatives. The role is onsite five days per week at the company headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Designs, maintains, troubleshoots, and improves electrical systems and equipment supporting refinery operations. Develops reliability strategies, investigates failures, performs relay coordination, short-circuit, and load-flow studies, and supports capital projects from design through startup. Provides technical guidance on maintenance, operating procedures, hazardous-area installations, industry standards, and electrical plant modifications involving switchgear, relays, MCCs, UPSs, and battery systems.

Provides process engineering design and project support for refinery capital projects from concept through commissioning. Owns relief valve and flare system programs, performs equipment sizing and process calculations, develops PFDs, P&IDs, and heat and material balances, and uses Aspen HYSYS, PI System, and Seeq for modeling, troubleshooting, and optimization. Supports process safety, environmental compliance, commissioning, multidisciplinary reviews, mentoring, and process improvement initiatives.

Provide process engineering design and project support for refinery capital and optimization projects. Develop PFDs/P&IDs, equipment sizing, simulations, and safety reviews; support FEED, commissioning, troubleshooting, turnarounds, and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with industry and site standards.

Provide litigation and regulatory support to Managing Counsel including legal research and writing, manage discovery and ESI, use eDiscovery and legal-hold tools, prepare documents and exhibits, track deadlines, assist with records retention, invoice review, and administrative tasks onsite at Martinez Refinery.
