Generate new Full Truckload (FTL) sales across North America by prospecting, cold calling, creating quotes and proposals, negotiating pricing and service terms, nurturing and retaining accounts, and maintaining accurate records in company systems.

Lead a 15–20 person last-mile warehouse team to receive, pick, process, and dispatch home delivery orders. Use operational metrics to identify improvements, train staff and contract carriers, resolve dispatch issues, restructure routes, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Perform day-to-day operational support and occasional physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs).

Supervise last-mile operations and associates to maximize productivity and safety. Assign and monitor work, train staff on equipment and procedures, manage inventory and supplies, ensure equipment use and safety compliance, and correct performance issues to maintain efficient operations.

Identify and develop leads through cold calling and research, negotiate rates with customers, maintain relationships, ensure shipment integrity, update internal systems, and manage billing accuracy to drive revenue and volume growth.

Perform and coordinate accounting duties including month-end/quarter/year-end closes, SOX support, general ledger maintenance and reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial and management reporting, and ad hoc analyses in accordance with GAAP.

Manage and administer operational policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service and cost control. Oversee supervisors, staffing, budgeting, and disciplinary actions. Act as liaison between account managers and operations, drive process improvements with systems engineers, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with quality initiatives and documentation.

Serve as daily point of contact and relationship manager for top clients. Advocate for customer satisfaction, expand accounts, negotiate rates and carrier services, ensure shipment integrity, maintain tracking/reporting and accurate billing, and collaborate with internal teams to secure sales terms and operational efficiency.

Manage order entry, routing, dispatch, and traffic coordination. Monitor pickups/deliveries, take driver check calls, investigate damages/shortages, schedule appointments, update stakeholders, and validate load data for accounting.

Manage daily last-mile contract carrier operations, supervise and train staff, plan and optimize delivery routes using route-planning software, handle dispatch and issue resolution, ensure compliance with policies, and improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
