Leads the organization’s internal cybersecurity program, covering governance, risk management, compliance, incident response, vulnerability management, identity and access management, security architecture, and security awareness. Develops policies, control frameworks, risk dashboards, incident playbooks, and security standards; coordinates audits, assessments, tabletop exercises, and remediation activities; and advises leadership and technical teams on security risks and controls.

Manage Cybera’s full HR function, including employee lifecycle operations, compliance, benefits, compensation, performance management, professional development, succession planning, and organizational culture. Lead and mentor an HR Generalist, coach managers, support recruitment and employee relations, administer HR systems and records, and develop strategic attraction and retention initiatives. The role also advances EDI, workplace well-being, and technology-enabled HR processes in a hybrid nonprofit environment.

Leads executive operations and Board of Directors activities, including governance workflows, meeting packages, minutes, action tracking, AGM support, director orientation, executive communications, strategic meetings, and stakeholder coordination. Oversees office operations, vendors, supplies, events, office moves, and the Calgary workplace environment while supporting the CEO and organizational priorities.

Manage and modernize a hybrid research and education infrastructure stack: deploy and operate OpenStack and public cloud resources, maintain hardware and IaC, implement Kubernetes and observability (Prometheus/Grafana/ClickHouse/Zabbix), build logging/telemetry pipelines (Vector/Fluentd/Kafka), provide Tier 3 support to members, and participate in a compensated on-call rotation.

Manage and modernize Alberta's hybrid research and education infrastructure: deploy and operate OpenStack and public cloud resources, maintain hardware and IaC, implement observability (metrics, logs, traces), build telemetry/log pipelines, use configuration management and Kubernetes, provide Tier 3 support to member organizations, and participate in an on-call rotation.
