Supports DESRI’s legal team by drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, reviewing leases and site-control documents, coordinating due diligence, maintaining contract playbooks and repositories, tracking review requests, and escalating non-standard terms. The role collaborates with deal teams, asset managers, counterparties, attorneys, lenders, and external counsel across renewable energy transactions.

Coordinate end-to-end recruiting across U.S. teams and time zones, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, data maintenance, agendas, reporting, and feedback collection. Track recruiting metrics, build dashboards, identify process bottlenecks, document workflows, and support recruiting technology integrations. Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, HR, finance, and operations on interviews, onboarding, employer branding, diversity initiatives, and recruiting projects.

Supports payroll, compensation, benefits, HRIS, immigration, and broader Human Capital operations. Responsibilities include payroll reconciliations, benefits administration, compensation analysis, HRIS reporting and data integrity, immigration case coordination, onboarding and offboarding, employee support, and cross-functional projects. The role partners with Finance and global HR teams while handling confidential employee data and improving processes.

Prepare and review U.S. GAAP financial statements, maintain accounting records, perform technical accounting analyses, and produce management, investor, tax, and regulatory reports. Conduct budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual analyses, coordinate audits and tax reporting, liaise with internal teams and external consultants, and improve accounting processes, workflows, and controls for renewable energy projects, funds, and corporate entities.

Support renewable-energy project financing transactions, including refinancings, acquisitions, and construction-to-term conversions. Review, draft, and negotiate financing, security, collateral, partnership, and tax equity documents. Prepare closing checklists, certificates, resolutions, conditions precedent packages, and UCC filings while maintaining closing bibles and post-closing trackers across concurrent transactions.

Support treasury and corporate finance initiatives across renewable energy projects, including cash forecasting, FP&A, debt facility management, liquidity and covenant monitoring, fundings, financial modeling, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement. The role partners with lenders, investors, counsel, senior management, asset managers, and accounting teams while developing forecasting tools, controls, and corporate finance workflows.

Support insurance placement, administration, renewals, premium allocation, policy checking, and compliance across renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include maintaining asset schedules, preparing underwriting submissions, reviewing contractual insurance provisions, tracking counterparty certificates, supporting transaction-linked insurance and surety placements, analyzing catastrophe exposures, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, Excel models, and automation tools. The role collaborates with brokers, underwriters, lenders, project teams, and internal stakeholders across the U.S. and Hyderabad.

Manage legal operations, regulatory compliance coordination, corporate governance documentation, entity formation, KYC matters, legal workflows, outside counsel engagement, spending oversight, and vendor relationships. The role supports compliance processes, improves legal department operations, tracks filings and certifications, and coordinates across internal stakeholders and external law firms or consultants.

Ten-week interns support DESRI’s Business Operations, Recruiting, and Human Capital teams. Responsibilities may include improving firmwide processes, coordinating cross-functional projects, conducting candidate research and recruiting analytics, supporting interview programs and employer branding, contributing to employee programs and talent management, and developing actionable people or operational analyses. Interns collaborate with mentors and project managers, visit a renewable energy asset, and present their work at the end of the summer.

Supports DESRI’s Legal team on renewable energy project development, acquisitions, financings, construction, and operations. Responsibilities include legal research, transaction and project document review and preparation, due diligence, and assistance with commercial and portfolio-related legal matters. The intern will collaborate with legal and business teams, gain exposure to project finance and transactional law, and present work to colleagues at the end of the 10-week program.
