Design intuitive end-to-end workflows and experiences for Taara’s technical products. Conduct user research and usability testing, develop information architecture and prototypes, maintain and expand the design system, and translate complex technical processes into clear user experiences. Collaborate with product and engineering teams, support cross-product alignment, communicate design rationale, and apply data-informed and AI-native approaches to design.

The Director Business Development - Data Centers will define market strategies, establish strategic partnerships, and promote Taara's FSO technology within the Data Center market.

Design and deliver high-speed photonic integrated circuits for free-space optical communication systems. Own photonic transmitter and receiver architectures, modulators, detectors, RF/microwave transmission lines, optical modulation formats, link modeling, and commercial foundry tapeouts. Contribute to system optimization, product strategy, spectral filter design, layout verification, and prototype-to-production advancement while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Conduct component evaluations and benchtop experiments for coherent optical communication receivers. Design and analyze carrier phase and frequency synchronization feedback loops, assess hardware limitations, and extend physical-layer simulations using Python. Reconcile simulation results with measurements while investigating laser, modulator, and analog-electronics performance. Document conclusions and independently drive experiments toward stable closed-loop operation.

The Senior Photonic Circuits Design Engineer will design integrated photonic circuits, focusing on spectral filters and switches, leading R&D efforts in wireless optical communications.

The Product Manager for Data Centers will define and evolve connectivity solutions for data centers, working cross-functionally to translate technical needs into product requirements and metrics, ensuring high performance and scalability.

The Director of Optical and Mechanical at Taara will lead the development and integration of advanced wireless optical communication systems, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive hardware testing initiatives.
