Clyde & Co seeks a New Mexico-licensed attorney with 3+ years insurance coverage litigation experience to handle complex coverage matters. Duties include drafting pleadings and discovery, legal research (Westlaw/LexisNexis), policy analysis and coverage opinions, document review, court filings, and attending depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Manage a caseload of professional indemnity and financial lines disputes including multi-party litigation, coverage and advisory work for insurers, Lloyd's syndicates and corporate clients. Run files independently, support partners on strategic matters, draft legal documents, manage strategy, and engage with regulatory/FCA and FOS issues.

Represent insurers and insureds in third-party property damage and construction defense litigation. Manage a 20-25 matter caseload, take depositions, attend hearings and mediations, draft pleadings, conduct legal research, handle discovery, prepare trial/mediation strategy, and report to clients.

Perform remote legal document review for large insurance-related files, draft memoranda, identify key documents, assist with witness preparation and expert retention, support case strategy and hearings, and attend virtual team meetings.

Join the Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team handling liability, coverage and quantum for high-value multi-track claims. Assist partners and manage your own caseload for insurers, corporates and public bodies. Responsibilities include investigations, witness statements, medical record review, drafting legal documents, client liaison, court timetables compliance, and supporting business development.

Provide insurance coverage advice and monitoring for insurer clients across various policies, manage coverage investigations and disputes, act as monitoring counsel, coordinate defence counsel and case information, represent insurers at mediations and in court when needed, maintain insurer relationships, and support business development and professional activities.
