Provide litigation and coverage advice in specialty insurance, professional negligence, construction and related areas. Manage files from assessment through pleadings, discovery, motions, mediation, pre-trial and trial. Draft correspondence and court filings, attend discoveries, argue motions, and appear at hearings. Develop client relationships, work with partners, and support practice management and business development activities.

Defend high-exposure insurance litigation: manage a heavy caseload, take depositions, attend hearings/mediations, draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research, prepare for and participate in trials, evaluate coverage issues, investigate claims, and report to insurance clients.

Handle complex marine recovery and cargo claims from inception to resolution across sea, road, rail and air; manage litigation, arbitration and ADR; draft pleadings and settlement agreements; advise insurers, carriers and logistics providers on transportation liability; manage client relationships; supervise junior lawyers and support business development.

Associate with 1-3 years litigation experience to manage a 10-20 matter caseload. Duties include investigating claims, drafting/responding to discovery and motions, taking/defending depositions, preparing pre-trial and trial documents, attending hearings, and participating in mediation/trial while maintaining client communication and case strategy.

Support litigation team by managing caseloads, preparing pleadings, discovery, privilege logs, and trial exhibits; assist with document review, organization, e-filings, depositions, and intake of large document productions.

Manage electronic billing for North America: implement clients on e-billing systems, submit and track electronic invoices, troubleshoot rejections, coordinate with billing/collections/attorneys, maintain client data in Elite 3E, assist month- and year-end closings, and support special projects and the E-Billing Manager.

Represent insurers in complex commercial and insurance coverage litigation: analyze policies, draft coverage opinions, conduct legal research, prepare pleadings/discovery/motions, attend depositions/hearings/mediations, manage matters and client communications.

Lead design, delivery and governance of compensation, benefits and retirement programs across the US and Canada. Provide strategic compensation advice, manage annual pay review and benchmarking, drive reward analytics and compliance, partner with vendors and stakeholders, and support global reward projects and change management to ensure alignment with firm strategy.

Provide end-to-end legal support for cyber incidents: act as first point of contact, manage breach response and crisis management, coordinate with clients, internal teams and vendors, handle regulatory obligations and notifications, prepare incident reports, assist with litigation/arbitration, maintain client files, and support business development.

Prepare and submit local tax returns (WHT, VAT, Corporation Tax); reconcile sub-ledger and general ledger; maintain monthly control reconciliations; support cashflow, working capital and AP; liaise with auditors; contribute to finance projects and handle ad-hoc finance queries.
