As a Robotics Engineer Intern, you'll design data collection systems for humanoid robots, develop control systems, and work on machine learning models while collaborating closely with a team on complex robotic systems.

The Robotics Engineer will design and build data collection systems for humanoid robots, develop teleoperation systems, automate model deployments, and integrate state-of-the-art robotic models. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for transitioning prototypes to scalable engineering systems.

Lead and build AIRoA’s operational foundation: support board and committee operations, design governance and internal rules, manage budgets/contracts and back-office functions, coordinate member communications and events, and implement systems to scale secretariat operations.

Manage back-office operations including meeting coordination, minutes, event secretariat, contract and document management, office/assets management, payments and budgeting. Standardize workflows and support governance while collaborating across teams to build AIRoA's operational infrastructure.

Support internal and external communications, PR, event planning, HR/admin tasks, and cross‑division coordination. Rotate across divisions to enable organizational engagement and drive AI×robotics outreach.

Lead end-to-end engineering recruitment for AIRoA, hiring domestic and international engineers. Define requirements, manage sourcing, screening, offers, English interviews, and visa/relocation coordination. Build hiring processes, talent pipelines, and university/community relationships to support global R&D expansion.

Lead end-to-end recruitment for business roles (strategy, PR, HR, general affairs, internal IT) at AIRoA: headcount planning, direct sourcing, agency management, selection-process design and operation, offer design/closing, and alignment with project leaders to build teams that support robot data ecosystem and foundation-model initiatives.

Lead and operate the Information Systems Department to build and maintain internal IT infrastructure (network, storage, servers, virtualization, containers, security), provide helpdesk support, coordinate with vendors/subcontractors, produce network diagrams and NEDO reports, and ensure reliable development environments for a large national AI robotics project.

Provide legal support for AIRoA projects and operations: draft and review contracts, design contract schemes, create regulations and IP/data handling rules, advise on NEDO/public contracts, and support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management for a general incorporated association.

Operate day-to-day HR and labor processes (attendance, onboarding/offboarding, social insurance), maintain HR policies, support performance evaluations, manage compensation/grade data, and act as first contact for harassment and compliance inquiries while improving HR systems and processes.
